How to make ume jam - Let's enjoy the natural taste.

Quantity: ripe Ume - 1kg / Sugar - 1kg

Calyx of a Ume is removed and it soaks in cold water for about 2-3 hours.
Cautions: Don't attach a crack to a Ume.
Then, it drains.

A Ume and water are put into an enamel pan and boiled.

If the skin of a Ume is torn, juice will be thrown away,
and Water is put in and bitter taste is removed overnight.

On the next day
A Ume is drained.And a Ume is smashed with a spatula and a seed is removed.
It will become delicious if it strains.

The Ume is put into an enamel pan and boiled over low heat.
It is a medium fire when juice comes out.


Sugar will be put in and stirred if it bubbles.
Cautions: Sugar tend to burn.

If it boils well about 30 minutes, it will cool automatically.
It puts into a bottle with a lid and saves in a refrigerator.
